At B-Logistics, you get a discard solution that's Easy, Green and Smart. Easy, because all of your discards (ex-collection materials or unused donations) can be handled in the same shipment; there's no need to separate the salable items from the items to be recycled. We do all the work for you. Green, because your discards are either sold to a happy customer, donated to a worthy charity, or recycled into raw materials, but they're never sent to the landfill. And Smart, because you get one solution that gives you the best all-around value for your discards.
B-Logistics doesn't require library partners to spend time and money sorting or scanning materials prior to sending. For libraries close to one of our facilities, we can even help them cut out packing labor and materials by providing receptacles for collection and pick-up.
Library shipments go to the closest B-Logistics facility for processing. There are 10 facilities in the US and Canada. For partners within a specific radius of any facility, B-Logistics will pick up library materials with one of its lift-gate trucks. For partners outside that a pick-up radius, B-Logistics coordinates shipping with a third-party carrier.
All salable materials will be uploaded via top-rated, proprietary software to 30+ e-commerce channels to be listed and sold on behalf of library partners. Any un-salable items will be sorted into donation and recycling streams. Donation stream materials will be forwarded to a community of vetted non-profit partners.
